What a screening this was! As our team anticipated, the homecoming screening for our Director of Photography, Chad was an absolute success.
Held on Wednesday September 23rd at San Francisco's famous Roxie Theatre, the San Francisco Premiere went without a hitch. With actor Phillipe Simon, director of photography Chad Leto, and producer Tommy Stackhouse all in attendance, our team was very pleased to see the turnout and support for the film from the San Francisco locale.
As doors opened for our pre-screening gala at 6:30, dozens of audience members filed in to the Roxie's atrium to enjoy a selection of beer from the bar as well as Mexican-themed hors d'oeuvres from local Mission District restaurant La Cumbre. Guests had the opportunity to hang out with each other and mingle with our "Parallax" team before the action got started.
As 7:30 rolled around, our audience filed in to the auditorium for the screening of the film. A very supportive crowd to say the least, the reception from this crowd was one of the best our team has yet to see.
As the film came to a close, we held a great Q & A session with Chad, Phillipe and Tommy all included, and the night ended on a great note. From there, it was time for our guests to head out and after hanging out outside of the theatre for a while, the night had come to a close and it was time to part ways.
San Francisco was a great screening for our team all-around. Such a huge thank you to everyone from The Bay who could make it out!
